Celebrity Millennium Cruise Ship Profile Celebrity Cruise Lines launched the 1950 passenger Millennium, in July of 2000. At 91000 tons, the ship was the largest at the time ever built in France. It was the first of four state-of-the-art ships that the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in St. Nazaire France, built for Celebrity. The Millennium was christened by its Godmother, Robyn Roux, wife of Celebrity's renowned chef, Michel Roux. She broke the traditional bottle of champagne on the hull of the 0 million ship, and a bi-winged stunt plane flew loops over the ship. Scottish pipers played and fireworks blasted overhead. It was quite an event! The Millennium cruise ship has many intriguing and innovative features. For example, Millennium has glass elevators that allow passengers panoramic ocean views while traveling from deck to deck. (Wouldn't want to miss a single beautiful view!) Millenniumfeatures the cruise industry's first music library, "Notes", offering thousands of selections of digital recordings and individual listening stations. For those of us computer buffs who can't go a week without checking our email, the ship includes an Internet cafe called Online@CelebrityCruises, with 18 individual stations for guests. If you are willing to pay for a suite, you will find your own personal Internet access, with flat screen PCs and printers. A big shout out to Dave Chase for having us out for the first "worship night" at the Holy Grounds Cafe at the Fenton United Methodist Church in Fenton, Michigan. This video is of Harvest playing "You Are My Rock" by Capstone at the Holy Grounds Cafe. The footage was shot on a Panasonic PV-GS320 on a tripod from the back of the room near the mixing board. That is also (obviously) where the audio in this video comes from. We didn't have the equipment necessary to get a stereo mix from the board. Maybe on the next one. Speaking of... another shout out to our boy and unofficial live sound engineer - Jordan Moshier - who, out of the goodness of his heart and for a few slices of pizza, mixed our monitors and front-of-house. Thanks man, we could have been in big trouble without ya!!! Thanks also to The Light. You guys were great! Happy birthday Owen!!!

This all came together perfectly. I wanted to perform comedy at the Tram, but the sign up sheet was full. Garrett was cool and let me do a song later on in the night. I invited this musician named Michael Paratore to accompany me on the doumbek after hearing him play solo. As he was setting up his equipment, I did a short disjointed comedy set to keep everyone's attention. You can't hear all the laughs on the video, but trust me. They were there. So I went from almost doing nothing, to blending both. It was cool. Check out Michael Paratore. He's on youtube. And whenever you're in the state of New York, visit the Tramontane Cafe, no matter where in NY you are.
